OUR DOCTRINE

We believe in God’s written word from Genesis to Revelations. If God said it, we believe it. We don’t claim any specific denomination but want to seek to know Jesus and follow His word. We believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ the Son of God. We believe in both the sovereignty of God as He calls, chooses, foreknows, and judges, and also we believe that He has made man with a free will, and calls us to choose life (Deut. 30: 19, 20). It is not God’s desire that any perish but that all would come to repentance and faith in Jesus (2 Peter 3:9). We believe in the supernatural work of God in the new birth (Ezekiel 36:26, 27), and that salvation is not by any work which we can do (Titus 3:5; Ephesians 2:8, 9), but only by humbly receiving the free gift of God’s grace through Jesus shed blood on the cross. Our works don’t save us, they are only an evidence of our salvation. Baptism is important, but is not the saving agent. Baptism of the heart must take place, not simply the washing of the flesh (1 Peter 3:21). We believe that God is Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit, three Persons abiding together as One, even as we are made in His image and are spirit, soul and body. We believe in a real heaven and a real hell, and yes, we believe God when He says there is a Day of Judgment, and it is not our desire that any would face His wrath on that dreadful Day. We believe in the importance of sound doctrine so none will be deceived by the enemy, and we believe in the power and anoint-ing of God at work in His children today. If you would like to see more of what we teach, please feel free to click on "devotional" and read from the titles offered, or scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the you tube link, and then click on "videos" to watch any of the teachings/ sermons that we have posted.
